Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

Mad Science of Hampton Roads gets kids excited about science. From birthday parties and camps, to after-school programs and assemblies, we are committed to delivering unique, hands-on science experiences for kids ages 3-12. All of our programs happen at client locations including schools, libraries, and homes.

We offer small, community based educational summer camps for upper elementary and middle school students with leadership opportunities for high school students. Camps are designed to inspire and empower young people to get involved in their community while building relationships with other campers and having a whole lot of fun.
